The Owners were looking for an architecturally advanced and designed home incorporating as many curves and circles as possible, hence the name of the residence ‘Casacurvatura’. The Owners are drawn to the bends and turns of the circular form and wanted a home to blend in with the natural environment.
This home has been designed to achieve the rigorous standards of the International Passive House Institute which implores the importance of a fabric first construction standard. The passive house design delivers very high performance and comfort for the lifetime of the building. This house, therefore, relies on building physics, a carefully integrated Heat Recovery Ventilation System, minimal building services and technology.
